Due to limited resources, currently we can only offer food to clients who have no funds but we are cooperating with Nottingham City Council and other food banks. If you need to access help for yourself or someone else, please read this page for guidance.

A Rocking Socking Thank You!

Thank you to all the organisations and school which took part in helping us raise awareness of the St Ann’s & Sneinton Food Store. We loved receiving all your pictures of your funky coloured socks. Have a look at some of our favourites 🙂 #pullyoursocksup

Pull Your Socks Up

With support from Nottingham Trent University and the service learning students we are raising awareness of the St Ann’s and Sneinton Foodstore, why it’s here, why it’s needed and why it is going to be around for some time to come.

Every week, people in need have to make that uncomfortable walk to a food bank. Thinking people are watching, feel embarrassed and stigmatised.

We want you to start the conversation and what better prompt than putting on your weirdest, craziest, oddest or loudest socks you can.

Wear them over the trousers, pulled up to your knees, if it’s chilly outside wear them as gloves. We don’t care how you wear them as long as you do!

Our Challenge, who is going be the most daring?  Wear them In the office?     The school run?    A wonder round Tesco?    Anyone got an appointment with the bank manager?

Send your pics from the most daring or uncomfortable situation using #pullyoursocksup
